At first, I was think that Ms. Excel is just what’s appeared on the Tool bar but I never touched the “Data”. So, when someone asked “How’s your Excel?” I proudly answered “I am good enough.” that’s when I think that excel is just about =sum(), =average(), =min(), =max(), etc., because that’s what the teacher taught me in my junior and senior high school.

At university, I never got a Ms. Excel lesson though I had to pass Ms. Office certificate for graduate. I just remember all the things from the given theories about what is =vlookup(), = hlookup(), and others, but never really understand what it is and how to use it.

There come my first work experience at Finance Company. they gave me some lesson about that, and Pivot. That’s really helps me in finding necessary-specific data. I felt “Okay” at that time, realizing that I may missed something in Excel.

Then there is a time when I just got a lot of free time, I browse Youtube for Advanced Excel, to make sure that I am know Ms. Excel much.

The answer is “BIG No”, there’s still a lot of things to study about. There’s Macro, VBA, User Interface, and else.

So guys, it’s always better to really know what you think you capable of before saying it to the world.
